    Hi Ivan,
Very informative article once again. I have visited Fiverr a couple of times. I thought of taking their services but I was quite unsure with their damn cheap fees, I mean only $5 for almost every job.

The best way to get the best services from Fiverr is to check the number of positive reviews made by buyers on that particular gig. See to the negative reviews also to see what complains people may have had. Most of all, any good seller out there would have had a top-seller rating also. Although many have attained this rating, but the positive review would speak for the quality of the gig...

I definitely need to check these out. So many types of things I can do, I just wonder how hard it is to actually sell services on there, as it seems a bit crowded.

If you have something unique and wonderful, peple would come around. Putting up a gig like: I will write your kids a story book, i will edit your story book, i will write you a fiction story or the likes for $5 can convert. Just give it a try and stay professional.

I used to use Fiverr to buy content, then I realised that I could be a seller on Fiverr and write some content for people!

Now I'm writting on a regular basis for people, althought the work I get isn't from Fiverr anymore :)

It all depends on what you have to offer. If it's something that the general pubic wants and are ready to pay for, people would patronize you. One good way to start is to check the gig request menu. Some people are looking for quick services so if you can offer any help, contact the buyer and give a professional result. Once the buyer gets satisfied, they will surely rate your gig and this is how you will boost your presence. A lot of people may tend to overlook your gig if there is no rating so don't wait till you're contacted, find your buyers also.

    All the best,
    Ivan.

I have never used Fiverr for selling or buying services, but for the generation of ideas.
It, for example helped me to come up with the idea for my previous site's banner.

I used to use Fiverr until they banned me unexpectedly about a year ago. I am still ticked off about it!! I had nearly $200 bucks in my account too that I still haven't received. You can google all of the complaints... I'm not the only one that has had BIG problems with them. Their customer service is the WORST!!!!! Anyways, I discovered FiveBucker and posted the same job on there. I have had more sales and visibility because they aren't overcrowded. The customer service is EXCELLENT!!! I get paid faster! Everything is better. I could go on and on about them. Anyways for sellers I HIGHLY recommend posting there. On fiverr there is too much competition and overall my experience on there has been anything BUT positive. FiveBucker.com FTW!!

I will check out the other sites you posted too. Has anyone had any experiences with some of the other sites?

It's so sad to hear that you couldn't get support from the Fiverr team. I hope you read through their terms properly. I think some buyer may have reported you for some issue you may not be aware about. As for the customer service, I have found them friendly cos I have mailed them on some occasions and the response was welcomed. Well, everyone different issues and solutions. Five Bucker is another good site but I am yet to make money there. Gigbucks is the next popular to Fiverr and I have made some cash there too. The rest are good but people are yet to trust online services there.

Oh, great, I can build a website for $5... or I can look for a job on a website for 5 hours just to get hired to make $5 once. Sounds like a way to make big bucks. NOT.
